We meet the Grec Poet Titos Patrikios

Particularly exciting was the the Poetry meeting with the Greek poet Titos Patrikios, who is an eminent personality of the Greek culture, not only because of the high value of his Poetic Work but also of his life, marked by the History of the XXth century. The members of Poesia e Solidarietà Oriana Bradas, Sofia Cassanelli, Ariella Sponza, Patrizia Zvelich, Maria Grazia Stepan, Annadina Mengaziol, Claudia Azzola, Enza Gangemi, Marcella Trulli, Libera Zivian, Gabriella Valera Gruber e Ottavio Gruber red some poems of Titos Patrikios from the italian translation of the book “La Resistenza dei Fatti”. Titos Patrikios was delighted and surprised. At the end he red himself some poems and spoke about Poetry and its values.

The meeting was possible thanks to the friendly collaboration of the East-Greek Community of Trieste (we thank in particular Dr. Cosmidis) and of the Foundation for Greek Culture in Trieste (we thank in particular Mss Aliki Kefaloianni). We thank also the University of Trieste (in particular Maria Kassotaki – Cattedra di neo greco).

We thank also mr. Franco, keeper of Caffè San Marco for kind collaboration.
