Über- und überall sind Stimmen

oft brauche, sehne ich mich nach ihnen

die Lebenspromill in meinen Adern klingen

betäubt durch Cocktailnacht und Taumel.

Stimmen führen zu Übelkeit und Erbrechen:

tagelang zu hoch dosiert.

Still wird die Welt, mein Innres soll singen

Gedanken, Erinnerungen in wahrem Reim erklingen.

Nur Du bist nichts von beidem

weder Stille – noch Stimme

Du, ja Du, Du schweigst mir nur.

Dabei wär ein Wort von Dir tanzbarer

als jeder Partyhit, tiefergehend als jede Ruhe –

wir sind nur dröhnendes Schweigen.

frequently I need, yearn for them

the life´s alcohol level rings in my blood vessels

anaesthetized by cocktail night and fever.

Voices cause nausea and vomit:

many days measured in too many doses.

Quiet becomes the world, my heart should sing

thoughts, memories should a true rhyme bring.

Only You are not part of the two

neither quietness – nor voice

You, right You, You say nothing to me.

One of Your words could be more danceable

than every party song, deeper than every quiet –

we are only roaring silence.
